Realty Development and Consultation

I have been blessed with a long and fulfilling real estate career and now offer my experience to others. Early on, I gained experience as a bricklayer, carpenter, construction manager, commercial and apartment leasing working for my NY based family development organization. I worked for a Residential Real Estate firm on Long Island and a Commercial leasing and sales firm headquartered in NYC. Working for a REIT I managed, leased and disposed of commercial and apartment projects ranging from Boston to Texas. In my own firms, I consulted, syndicated, managed, leased, developed and constructed marinas, shopping centers, office buildings, condominiums, custom homes and schools and operated residential real estate firms.

As a consultant, I have worked as a third party verifier for the US Navy, advised both domestic and foreign clients regarding apartments, tracts of land, retail leasing and real estate office operations throughout the US. As the business officer of a college I renovated dorms, library, classrooms, roofs, HVAC equipment, landscaping, fire code upgrades, and installed a campus wide LAN. I have constructed custom and spec homes in NY, CT and Maine. Working as the director of marketing for an energy firm I monitored the HES program in CT and opened a NY office under the NYSERDA program. I have earned the designation as Master Certified Green Professional from NAHB were I was a National Director. I worked with an inner-city agency completing deep energy retrofits certified under energy star and the state residential new construction rebate program.

Over the years I have taught classes in sustainability for the National Association of Realtors, business classes as an adjunct professor on the community college level and residential real estate classes for homeowners on the adult education level. My licenses and designations included BPI certifications, IREM designation and brokers licenses in NY and CT. I earned graduate degrees in Business and in Peace Studies. My companies have received a national award in marketing and HOBI awards for marketing and energy efficient construction, in addition to earning NAHB emerald designation for green construction.
